    Janel--

I knew you had "curated" this collection before I even saw your name on the post. The surprise was that all these things came from Pier One. Which just goes to prove anyone can get a great look just about anywhere if you have a great eye.

    Happy Fall!

Actually this is "post-Brady", circa 1977, Carter administration, reccession, energy crisis,20% interest rates...it all makes sense now.

I bought the geometric pillow from Pier One just last week! I had been stalking it online for a few weeks because it's obviously a knock-off of the way out of my price range bargello chevron pillow by Jonathan Adler. Finally went into the store and snatched one up.

    I love my new pillow!

I think I like the knock-off one better, alpha!

Yes, anyone can get a great look if they have a good eye and Janel certainly does, but the quality at Pier One is typically a step down from poor. I wouldn't buy anything there no matter how pretty it looks in a picture.

I have the floral curtains in sand and love them. They look great in my living room and add a nice presence to the room. I think the quality it just fine. I recommend ironning them before you put them up.

    ChrisToronto--

I've purchased plenty of accessories over the years and there has never been an issue with the quality of them, especially relative to price.

    ChrisToronto -
I might not buy a couch from Pier One, but their dishes aren't bad. Their candles and pillows are quite nice.

Yes, I purchased a dining table set from Pier1 and am not too happy with the quality of construction, though the finish is nice. But I think their accessories are great.
